CAUSE OF ERROR

When you receive an PRESET PRICE ENTRY INHIBIT error on a Sharp UP-700 Cash register, it means that the item is set to be an open price.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, press the clear or Cancel button to remove this error. Try again and typing in the amount first and then you will need to press the item key.
